EUGEN VARZIĆ was born on the 31 May 1972 in Đakovo. In 1992 he enrolled in the visual arts course at the Faculty of Education in Rijeka. He graduated from the painting department of the Faculty of Arts in Rijeka under the mentorship of Prof. Ksenija Mogin. Along with painting he is engaged in experimental film and photography. His works have been exhibited at numerous solo exhibitions and at more than a hundred group exhibitions at home and abroad. He has been awarded for his works a number of times. He has also headed a number of art projects and cooperated in a number of international visual art projects and manifestations.He is a member of the Association of Croatian Artists – Istria and the Croatian Freelance Artists Association.He is the owner of the author gallery Art Studio Varzić in Poreć where he lives and creates as a freelance artist
